It works well on an older MacOS version if you download the relevant legacy suite from Microsoft website. What was not immediately obvious is it doesn’t work with apps downloaded from Apple App Store. But after a bit of hustle it works perfectly fine.

Although everything worked pretty smoothly with purchasing and activating this license, the price is somewhat high despite the discount especially for the vintage of the product. Given the apriori knowledge of the capabilities and accepting the price, the overall product functionality is absolutely fine and per expectations. Definitely recommended if tradeoff between features and price is acceptable.

Great value for an essential piece of software. Assuming you don’t need a OneDrive subscription throwing in (Mac user here so that’s a no for me) then this will be far cheaper than an Office 365 subscription for nearly all of the same functionality.

Code was made available immediately. Signed into my Microsoft account and activated the license without any issues. Switched from my office 365 subscription costing $9.99 a month to the 2021 Home/Office. The one-time purchase will pay for itself in a half a year. Plus, no more copolite in my word / excel applications. One of the other reasons i switched to the 2021. It is a worthwhile investment that will more than pay for itself.
