FolderFort offers enterprise-grade reliability (Backblaze backbone) at a consumer "pay-once" price. While the interface is clean and speeds are fast, it is currently web-first. If you want to use it like a local drive or for automated scripts, you’ll encounter their unique "credit" system and beta-stage native apps. The Pros: - Infrastructure: Your data sits on Backblaze B2. You get 99.99% uptime and enterprise-level encryption at rest without the monthly bill. - Blazing Speeds: Unlike other "lifetime" deals that throttle you, FolderFort often saturates your home fiber connection (up to 20MB/s for Pro users). - Unlimited Collaboration: You can create unlimited workspaces and invite guests. Guests get their own 1GB free and don't need a paid account to work on your shared files. - No App Bloat: For users who prefer headless or browser-based management, the web UI is snappy and doesn't require installing invasive sync clients. The Cons: - The "API Credit" Trap: Using 3rd-party tools (Rclone, SFTP, or their Sync App) consumes "credits." Most plans give you 1TB of credits, but files smaller than 1MB are charged as a full 1MB. This makes it expensive/impossible for backing up node_modules or thousands of small config files. - Immature App Ecosystem: Desktop apps are in beta, and the mobile experience is limited to the browser. There is no "virtual drive" (like OneDrive) that handles files-on-demand well yet. - UI Limitations: You cannot currently mass-delete folders or move files between different workspaces easily. - Privacy: It is not zero-knowledge. FolderFort manages the keys. For sensitive DevOps data, you must encrypt files locally (e.g., via Cryptomator) before uploading. Final Verdict: BUY IT IF: You need a place to dump large media files (like your concert DVD remasters) or ISOs. It’s the cheapest way to get 1TB of reliable storage. SKIP IT IF: You intend to use it as a primary backup for active Git repos or home lab scripts. The 1MB minimum credit charge will eat through your API allocation in minutes.

Folderfort is an excellent cloud storage. It's faster than any others that I have used. Get it, and the price can't be beat!

Good Product! Fast upload and good files subdivision.

Web (SSL) accessible encrypted cloud storage that unlike InterNXT actually works for shared document storage space. Setup, which requires selection of a specific server either in the US or EU is a PITA, but customer support rapidly corrected problem with account on two separate servers.
