About the Designer: Carmen Zambrano
Carmen Zambrano is a Mexican Industrial Designer graduated from Universidad Autonoma Metropolitan and Domus Academy in Italy. In 2007, she fell in love with jewelry during a working partnership with craftsmen at a silver workshops in Zacatecas, the city with the biggest jewelry production in Mexico. She worked for a North American jewelry brand at its Mexico facilities and then in 2010, after winning the Mexican Design Biennale, she created LUSASUL, her own jewelry brand.
